A new film installation by myself and photographer Bart Celestino screened last weekend at Semi-Permanent in Carriage Works. A Romance of Many Dimensions is a study on the ocean in extreme slow motion, and features actress Mia Wasikowska.
We hung a huge 30 x 10' screen in the middle of a large void, and illuminated it with two 2K rear projectors, creating one unusually wide 4K image. The film was able to be viewed from both sides of the screen.
